Since their EP (referred to Us Kids Know EP in 2003) and their remarkably album Funeral album in 2oo4, I've been hooked to this supersize band. Arcade Fire speaks to several generations at once. The fervid tenor of the band’s music, always pitching toward some kind of revelation. Arcade Fire songs aim, without apology or irony, for grandeur, and, more often than not, they achieve it.

They also sew their own matching outfits, are fans of the misanthropic Brits: The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen + Radiohead! But really the style maker here is Haiti-born Régine Chassagne, also married to lead singer Will Butler. Love her style, she also has a great voice, listen to the song Haiti.

Arcade Fire – Flash Player + Website + My Space + “The Salvation Army” + Neon Bible
“If you are a human being, you owe it to your eternal soul to love the Arcade Fire and see them play live.” David Bowie has performed live with the band. Fans of Arcade Fire also include U2 + Michael Stipe. Which makes Will uncomfortbale. But forget about the fans, what they wear and where they from and read “The Salvation Army”, truly they are an emotional and inspiring band. They are also somewhat spiritual, but not properly religiuos and seem a lot like a commune. Afterall, they truly belief in the power of bringing people together through music.
